A great summer in a great place
Summer sports in Tirol

The Sport Camp Tirol in Landeck is ideal for all sports enthusiasts from beginners to experts. Wild water surfing, rock climbing, rafting, kayaking, river trekking and much more awaits the active guest. But as adventurous as that all may sound, each and every activity is governed by strict safety rules, and the difficulty level of each activity is geared to the participants' level of skill.

Weer, a small village in the lower Inn Valley, is the right place for campers looking for an active holiday. Harald Mack runs the Alpine campground there as well as the Alpine and Recreation School, which offers guided hikes, climbing, high alpine tours, and mountain biking. The summer program also includes a Children's Adventure Week and a Tirol Active Week with rafting, skiing, a hike to a mountain peak, two days of mountain biking and a cultural excursion day.

Sport Woell in Pertisau on Lake Achen offers a six-day sport programme, which includes an adventure safari, a two-day mountain hike with overnight stays in sleeping bags in the hay, and a two-day mountain bike tour with fresh trout for dinner. Tubing on the Brandenberger Ache (or rafting on the River Inn if the Ache is too high) round off the programme. The perfect end to the adventure safari is a restorative bath in mineral extracts that have been mined in a mountain near Pertisau for almost a century, followed by a soothing massage.
